Maybe read the advice that other people give too. It took me ages to be able to give detailed advice, but we all have to start from somwhere!

Since you haven't posted yet, why not check out the arrivals and departures forum and post a little intro for us? That way, we get to know a bit about you and why you're here, and also we'll know to look out for you when you start branching out - which I hope you will - to other parts of the forums and site. You will also get to know a but more about us and the site in general and its various features when we welcome you there, so it would be a great idea if you're up for it.
