I understand that. I didn't say they were trying to make my life miserable. I just don't like the fact that they were telling me who I shouldn't be with. Now, they're telling me to go back out with them. I might as well just tell them that I never broke up with him

I like all music, classical just isn't my favorite genre
I'm more for modern rock I guess A few of the bands I favor are - Linkin Park, Nickelback, Evanescence, Paramore, 3 doors down, 3 days grace, daughtry, ect ect But all music is amazing

I understand they're trying to think what's best for me, but I'm almost an adult now. I can make my own decisions and I know what's best for me. What's best for me is to stay with my boyfriend because he's willing to be with me forever and he's doing all these nice things for me. None of my boyfriends were like that. He's the only one who shows me that he loves me and willing to be with me. I don't really like being stubborn, but I guess I have to be. You never had to go through something like this, have you?

I'm going to take your advice and do what you say. Every time I tell them that I might get back together with him, they're like you don't deserve someone like him. I didn't even tell them what he's taking me for my 18th birthday because I don't want them telling me what to do. Like, I don't annoy them or anything but they have to annoy me about being with my boyfriend, even though we're not together according to them

I don't know how many times I can keep saying this to them. Now, it's really starting to get annoying. I helped them stay together in their relationship, but they tell me to leave my boyfriend because he's no good for me. That doesn't make any sense at all. I can try my best to be happy that they're protective of me, but I really don't think it's going to work. I just want them to understand that I left my boyfriend because of them and now I want him back

I tried telling them that, but they're not understanding. I love my boyfriend and I want to be with him. They don't want me to get hurt again. I kind of understand what he did because the girl wouldn't leave him alone about it. He promised me he would never hurt me physically or emotionally. I just don't see why they can't just accept that I want to be with him and I'm happy with him. I just wish they would be happy for me

I don't tell them who they should be with. Like, I was trying to help them stay together because they had a little issue going on. They tell me they want me to be happy. If they want me to be happy, they'll let me choose who I want to be with

just too much going on.

Should I just tell them that we're still together? I don't want to keep this from my friends, but I don't want them telling me who I shouldn't be with. And thank you
