Sorry, this is a late reply. I had to attend the arabic course after all. And it's been 5 weeks. Not fun.

'Hello' is well 'hi'. Good morning = selamat pagi. How are you = apa khabar? And well, if you wanna know more, just ask!

Oh, and turns out I'm not going to Egypt. I got accepted into medical school in Malaysia (they're actually really hard to get into, so I'm glad I did), so no Egypt for me. I'm kinda glad coz medicine in Egypt takes 6 years, whereas in Malaysia takes 5years. And i get to spend the holidays here, life is good....

Not in college yet, just finished matriculation. Next on to university..^_^

Malaysia is more diverse than Indonesia so most probably more exotic I guess. I don't know about Indonesia since I've never been there, but Malaysia can sometimes be a mix of the old and the new. Like KL can be pretty modern, but go to Terengganu or any kampung and they might still be living in wooden stilt houses and making and selling keropok lekor (which is delicious by the way!) for a living.

Oh and Malaysian food is, in my opinion, the best. You have such a variety. Roti canai, nasi lemak, mee rebus, laksa penang, nasi paprik, yong tau fu,...and more! Believe me, Malaysia is a food haven.

The culture is diversifies here too. It would have to be with Chinese, Malay, Indian, and other ethnic groups living together. The holiday celebrations are the best.

Sorry, for getting carried away. well, hope you make it here!

Oui. Old Port is essentially the waterfront of Portland. Old Port has bunch of great little restaurants and shops, and there's a lot of tours and cruises. There's a couple museums down there too, I think. Portland in general has a good art museum as well, if you're into that kind of stuff.

Yeah CT is really weird. But, oh well. What can we do?

I've never been to Bar Harbor but Portland is awesome. Go to Old Port, that's where all the cool stuff is. xD

Hartford is scary. I think I stayed there when I was with my school on a school trip. Bleh.

The good news is New Hampshire is beginning to change politically, or at least seems that way.
I think we're a bit over a million now. It's a pretty good size for a state like us.

Ohhhhhh yeah. And the Boston Common is oh my god pretty. Yay Boston! xD

LMAO I totally agree with you. They're all Yankee fans there. New Hampshire is like that, but prettier. It's like the one southern state in the north. But they're slowly turning democratic.

I've been to all the 6 states but never spent much time in Rhode Island.
Maine is pretty. I hear western Mass is pretty too. Let's just face it - all of New England is pretty. Well, except Connecticut cities. They're kind of crappy. xD

They are. But I think ESPN is even worse.

How did Mandela get the will to surpass the everyday,
When injustice had him caged and trapped in every way,
How did Ghandi ever withstand the hunger strikes and all,
Didn't do it to gain power or money if I recall,
It's to give; I guess I'll pass it on
