Well, I was writing a speech on how the media effects teens, and I was looking up information for girls specifically, and a post popped up from this site because there was a forum related to my search or something. I went to it out of curiosity, and found that this site deals with a lot of issues I've been really struggling with lately. I wasn't going to join at first, but I decided it might be beneficial and so far I've really liked it. (:

I completely agree. Being in a treatment center isn't anything to be ashamed of, it shows strength. And if that teaches my kids to be strong and talk to me about their problems, then you bet I'll tell them what I've done to help myself. I believe in honesty. It'll keep them close to me. So yeah. I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels like that.

Yeah. I know. I know that someday when I have kids, I'm going to educate them about all of this and more so they know how to treat people and if they ever encounter it, they'll actually understand. You know?
