    Hi Nat!!
    I hope you're having a super duper day.
    Sorry I didn't respond to your April 13th message. That was silly of me. But I enjoyed reading it - if that helps!! lol How was your friend's play? Was it odd seeing someone you know so well - pretending to be someone else?! Did your friend play the Demi Moore part?!
    I have to admit - Victoria - in fact - all of Vancouver Island is beautiful. And I'm especially lucky where I live. I'm only a few blocks from the ocean if I go one way. And a only a few blocks to the Inner Harbour [Where the Parliament Buildings are] if I go the other way. And the 'place' is surrounded by tourists and horse drawn carriages and pedi-cabs and double-decker buses and mopeds and cruise ships and floater planes and ducks and birds and herons and so on. It's wonderful. Victoria is - in fact - one the top ten tourist destinations for all of North America. [I sound like tour guide!! lol] Where on the mainland did you live? I was born in New Westminster and was raised there. It was a nice city - once upon a time - but now - I don't know. It just seems somewhat uncared for. Then again - I haven't been there in 5 years so maybe it's nicer!!
    That all said....
    THANKS for the 'congrats' re me becoming a HelpLink mentor. I was one before TH crashed. In fact - I was a TH moderator soon after it first started - about 6 years ago. WOW!!! I've been here a long time!! lol
    Take care of yourself,
    GREAT BIG HUG

    Craig!!

    Thing is, Scotland has the worst binge drinking culture in the UK...and the fact that I'm somewhat perversely proud of that speaks volumes >.>
    I was drinking regularly since 14...but I don't encourage that, it can't be good for you..

    Hehe =)
    And yeah, I did..but me being a guy, what I wore didn't vary much from what I'm wearing right now, plus me being me, I spent most of my time at the bar sampling one of the finer things Northern Ireland had to offer ^^;
    ...Now that just makes me sound like an alcoholic >.>

    Ahh, I see. How are the roads between where you are and the con? I'm thinking the best you can really do at this point is argue your case and hope your Mum sees your point of view..
    Okay, I guess that wasn't much help ^^;

    Ach, it's cool, don't apologise =)
    Hm, so I'm taking it trying to persuade your mum that your brother is a responsible adult in his own right won't work? ^^;
    That sounds like quite the slug, going via train. It'd be worth it though I guess if there was no other way..

    Mostly I'm hopping back and forth between my mum's house in Milton, my dad's house near Peterborough, and my friend's house in Hamilton, where I am now. Our two ex-friend bastardly roommates just moved out today, so we're thorwing a massive party this weekend. Holly says she wants to concoct hundreds of jello shooters, so it certainly promises to be interesting.

    My hair is naturally blond, and it was previously dyed a very light blond, so the colour takes to it perfectly. After dyeing and washing it the first time, none of it has come out. If you really want to do cool colours, just buy a couple of your own towels. My friends and I use Garnier dye brands; they work really well for us while being nice and cheap.

    I know what you mean about not being in University yet. I've been putting it off for ages, but now that I know what I want it feels like the next four months can't go by quick enough. Although I'm going to be doing awesome stuff with friends pretty much every weekend. We're a crazy bunch.

    It's great to hear you've figured something out! It doesn't matter so much whether its what you end up doing; as long as you've got a direction and you're pursuing something that interests you it's time well spent.

    About me
    Hi everybody!
    My name is Nat and I'm working out where to go with my life. The gap between science and the arts is just a little too wide for me, so I think a bridge is in order =P
    I love making friends, listening to people, talking about just about anything, and spending time with my dog, Mocha.
    If you ever have any questions, send me a PM and I'll do my best to answer them ;)
    I hope you are having an amazing day.

    Heroes
    Before I used to say I'm still looking for my hero. Now I think I've found him. A lot of people look up to this guy because he founded a popular organization and all, but I honestly think he's the nicest, most inspirational, and best speaker I have ever had the honor to meet. So, to finally add him to this list, Jamie Tworkowski. Thanks for the message, the words, the smiles, the hug, and most of all the hope.

    The great artists of our time are the ones who created something timeless. But it was never them defining it that way.
