I recommended highlighting your eyes because I believe them to be the first part of your face most people look at Anyways, I hope I helped. Make sure to tell me how it worked out!

I think that it all depends whether you'd like to have your whole face painted, or only the part that you've painted for the video.
Imo you should highlight your eyes.
Darker green paint will definitely do the trick, but try to blend the colours more smoothly

Exactly! Have you ever done something like that?

Btw. glitter is so cool. I mean, adding glitter and/or some stuff like artificial gems can liven it all up. ^^ Although I believe it doesn't work well with everything (I can't really imagine a glittery Chinese dragon on one's face, haha)
Another thing that I like to do is a, how to call it - character make-up or something? I just pick a character from a book/film/fandom/whatever and do make-up that I feel has some connection to the character or shows their traits. For example: to depict, let's say, Harry Potter I'd use dark 'mysterious' colours with red & yellow accents for Gryffindor. And add some small references to HP around. I'm not great at explaining but I hope you get the general idea!

I'm sure leopard print would turn out fantastic!
I use a few kinds of substances: body paints, body crayons and casual make-up kits. I also like writing some quotes and making detailed graphics using normal pens and colourful marker pens, however I don't do it too often as it may irritate the skin.
What I enjoy the most is making a stylized make-up, for example the one done in Mexico for the Day of the Dead (it's my favourite one to do ^^). I tend to use body crayons besides the usual kits for make up for that.
If you had a slightly wider choice of colours, just as you said, you'd be able to mix them to get new ones. It's so fun (at least for me!)
So do you do 'tattoos'? What substances do you actually use - are they body paints or something different?

That's pretty amazing! I'll definitely check out your YouTube channel this weekend when I'm off from work. What sort of stories do you tell? Do you have any published works?

    About me
I'm a 35-year-old Brit with a passion for writing and storytelling, cooking (and eating, obviously :P), and for being the person I needed when I was a teen.

I'm a trainee therapist and am finishing up my diploma in counselling during this year and 2018. It was helping out on forums like this that prompted me to start this diploma in the first place, so while this stage of my training is going quite slowly, I thought I'd go back to my roots and help out a bit!
