I think I get the concept of Medieval Times restaurants, I just don't know if we have any here.
That said, I did see a guy wearing chainmail the other day.
Which, by the way, is really heavy and uncomfortable to wear.
I've also seen some jousting this year and stuff, which was interesting. So if I ever come up your way, we'll go to one of these restaurants, yes?
At what age can you guys drop out of school? With us it's 17, unless you're doing something else (apprenticeship, TAFE, something like that), I think. But it's probably different over there.
You're planning on going to a college/uni (what's the difference, anyhow?), aren't you? Which one/s?
I forget that you guys don't have swimming carnivals. See, where I am, we don't have full-on sports teams or anything. We just have people who band together to play a sport once in a while, and we also have an athletics carnival and swimming carnival each year. I guess it's the same as a tournament (though that just reminds me of EyeToy
), where you compete against other people around your age and etc.
I'll have a look at some more of your stuff later, when I have time. I want to do them justice rather than just rushing through them.
Maybe we can take tips from my sister then.
Speaking of dressing up, the party I mentioned is actually an 80s-themed one, so we all have to wear fluoro - which I have none of. I'm really more of a pastel person - so I have to find some.
I think I'd love to go anywhere, really. Some of the major tourist attractions, plus some off-the-beaten-track type places or something. Or just meet up with someone over there and have them show me around.
Honeymoon? Something you're not telling me?
I'd love to be shown around Michigan by you.
I eat... grass.
Just kidding. I'm not vegan, so I eat cheese and eggs and stuff. I don't like tofu though.
But other than that, I eat most vegetarian things. We have a lot of recipes we just adjust - like tonight I'm having lasagne, and there's a really nice spicy bean loaf that my mother makes sometimes. And I also eat a lot of pasta.
I've been vegetarian for about two years now, I think. I first asked when I was thirteen, but my mother completely shot me down, so then when I was about fifteen I asked again, half-joking, and she was like, 'Oh, yeah, sure, you're old enough' so I never ate meat again and I've never looked back.
She had something I'd never heard of before... some kind of cool puzzle game where you have to fit blocks into certain shapes? And some weird game where you had to be a person who was going on a roadtrip, and a car stopped on the edge of the road and you were asked if you wanted to take a ride with them, and your options were 'Yes' or 'No' but if you said 'No' they convinced you to go anyway.
That one always ended with me breaking my ankle or something. She had Fruit Ninja, which was fun, but not Angry Birds. She also had one to do with burgers? I don't know lol.
What do you have to do for your test? Is it just answering questions, or more practical? Good luck, by the way! You'll do great. And it's okay; I won't tell.
As for what's new with me... well, I graduate exactly one week from today. I've started seriously thinking about applying to universities for next year. And I'm also going to paint my nails bright blue as soon as I can, just because I'm awesome that way.
