- My name's Kat, I play guitar (not well) and I like to sing, although I have no training. Music is my life. I know people throw expressions like that around a lot but I'm pretty sincere about it, I think. My favourite bands are like my family. I like music because it's all my own, nobody else in my family likes the music I do. It was something I found all by myself. And it makes sense to me. I have plenty of friends but I don't like telling them how I feel most of the time. The only emotions I express to people I don't know very well are happiness, anger, apathy and boredom. As much as I'd like to tell somebody how I'm really doing, I choose not to. I like to look strong, so I don't usually show it if I'm sad or weak. My favourite songs are what let me keep that reputation up. Even if none of my friends know how I feel, there's somebody hiding inside my iPod who does.
