Interesting is definitely the right word. It's good for me to have someone smart but wrong around the place challenging my ideas, and it's a plus that you're passionate because it stops you from being boring.

Heh. I think every visitor message I get starts with something like "I hope this doesn't sound weird, but...". And yeah, I've been noticing the same thing. I think it's because we've been posting in pretty uncontroversial threads recently: anyone who knows what they're talking about would say the same thing. In a thread on flirting with other girls, say, we'd be striking sparks off each other again.

Either that or you've finally embraced the Dark Side.

Hey, I read your thread about what to collect when going to different countries. But it was closed and I didn't know where to post this so I am leaving you a VM. Sorry if this is a bit vague but I just can't help myself since I love collecting memorabilia from the countries I visit. Anywho, the cheapest things to collect are coins, because coins can't be exchanged for currency (at least not where I am from). The next thing would be badges/pins from all the different cities you visit (I have a tonne of those that I've pinned to my bag). Another thing is postcards and sometimes you get them for free at the hotel you're staying at (I usually take one of each kind to remember everything). The best thing and easiest of all is the tickets - plane/train/bus/museum/Eiffel Tower/London Eye etc. etc. - because not only it is a good memorablia but it also helps you remember exactly when you were at that certain place. Oh and if you want something special you could get Tee-shirts, or small snow-globes, charm-bracelets or even some speciality of that area like when I went to Venice I got some Murano-glass items. Ah, well I just hope this helps
