- I'm depressive. My best friend, a guy, has helped me with so many things. He has kept me from becoming a runaway, and, even though he doesn't know it, cutting and suicide. I am literally alive because of him. My other "friends" and "family" have done nothing but tear down my once- thick walls. My father has threatened every single relative I have, including me. My friend is my "protector", in his words. He has done everything in his power to help me. At one point, we both thought I had gotten better. The truth is, I'm simply lying to everyone I meet, including him. I got worse, not better. I joined this website hoping to get answers on why I feel like this.
