    Yes, communications with a possibility of going into Journalism or broadcasting. (prefferably radio, not TV because I don't want people seeing me...) And I have a back up option, you know, in case I fail out or completely do utterly terrible in communications, I will go into Psychology to become a counselor for teens. What are you planning on studying?

    It was the accumulation of several events. I had a difficult time in middle school, and not only was I unaware of how to obtain help, but the school's administrators were as well. Later on, I wanted to study psychology in order to better understand what happened to me, as well as to educate others. What made me decide to pursue therapy as a career, however, was a number of events with friends and fellow high school students. I was part of a peer support group, where I was able to speak with teens one-on-one who had been referred by the school for various reasons (drug possession, self-harm, domestic violence, new to the school, etc.). Again, it frustrated me that I wasn't educated about psychology in general, and that I had limitations as a student. Once I realized that I needed to obtain a license of some sort in order to perform certain actions (ex. assessing/diagnosing, committing clients to involuntary hospitalization for their safety, etc.), I started doing my research and ultimately chose to become a marriage and family therapist in the state of California. =)

    Hey there! I've seen you around as well, and it's great to finally talk to you. =)

    I'll gladly answer any questions I can about psychology, therapy, grad school, etc. Keep in mind that I'm not a therapist yet, so I may not be able to answer all of your questions; however, I can always ask my professors. =D

    I wouldn't mind it except for that my whole family is here and they don't let me go anywhere by myself and they let everyone else. Also, we have like nothing to do around here unless we drive about fifteen minutes into town. Around here there is a gas station, fire station, movie house (that is closing) and that is about it besides farms and houses. A very boring little place in my opinion. I think I would like it if I could walk around the block or something by myself but I am not allowed to.

    I've recently abandoned the idea of living for the purpose of fulfilling societal expectations and am now a firm believer in the beauty of chasing my dreams and passions to their fullest extent. If this means anything to you, I'm a Slythern, an INFP-T, a 6w5, and blue. There was a point in my life where I considered myself outgoing, but I've come to realize that I'm truly an introvert masquerading as an extrovert.

    I drink an obscene amount of coffee, have a penchant for hole-in-the-wall places, and relish in the moments that allow me to sit aside with my nose stuck in a book. While I greatly appreciate all the little things life has to offer, some of my favorite things are Harry Potter, Disney, Christmas, exploring nature, and my little family. My sense of wanderlust will never die, but I'm slowly crossing places off of my bucket list.

    I believe in vibes, karma, and the energies of the universe. I chase love and light and do my best to make my little corner of the world a more positive place. I find the greatest joy in getting to know people and hearing their stories. I think ghosts and aliens are rad. I have a fascination with the paranormal, true crime, and the occasional conspiracy theory. I watch more YouTube and Netflix than is probably healthy, but I'm learning to balance those things with my other interests.

    As far as TeenHelp goes, I took a wrong turn down the right path and ended up in one of the best online families out there.
