- Hi, I'm Tres, I'm currently struggling with my Mom (she adopted me) at home. I'm having a lot of trouble "not listening" as she says. And so as a result, my senior year in High School is going down the tubes. I have not attended my prom because of the same reason. I have been grounded since about March. I probably won't be able to go anywhere or have anyfun on my last year in High School. I really, really, am not happy going home anymore. She doesn't make me happy anymore. I just need help, I don't think I can stay here anymore, because its just not that easy. You know, I find it troubling that I was adopted to get away from my real parents destructive behaviours, but she is just as equal. I have been accepted to College at Coastal Carolina University. I'm 18 and If someone want's to help me pay for college that'd be great! I'm just not happy anymore, and what is life if I can't be happy? I'm a hardworking person, I run track and sing in Choir. I'm also in Band. I'm involved in school pretty well. Ask me anything.
