Hey there Um, to see what threads you've made and what threads you've replied to, you click "statistics" (it's the tab next to "about me") and under "total posts", there are links you can follow that show you the posts you've made and the threads you've created. :]
To change your avatar, look up at the top where it says "User CP." Click on that, and look on the side to where it says "change avatar." From there you can upload a picture to make your avatar.
