Hey, Marissa I was just wondering how you were doing; I haven't been on TH lately cause I've not felt too helpful but meh. I would think a month would be a good time for any side effects to start showing up, but if you've told your doctor honestly the severity of how you're feeling you should trust him and keep him updated at all times. Maybe ask him about considering the possibility of bipolar disorder, so he can look for those symptoms? It could put your mind at ease, but it's perfectly possible that you just need a medication that doesn't leave you running out when night falls.

I don't remember if you've mentioned how long you've been on the current dose, but your doctor is right in that you need to give it a little time to work (at least a month) before you start judging its effects. However, if you've gotten WORSE, that is definitely cause to talk to him anyway. This way he knows everything and you can have a professional decision on whether or not you need to continute taking it for now. Just try to be completely honest, so he can help you most. You might as well give this medication a fighting chance before switching; you want to be careful about getting the right treatment for yourself. :-)
