Aye, Invictus means 'unconquered' in latin and I got it from the name of Virgin Steele album (check them out, if you like power metal, you'll love them =) ).
Mage is actually a roleplaying game (with dice and character sheets, that kind), and in that, it's the word used for pure, unflavoured magical energy in it's (rather complicated, lol) metaphysics system.
So ether is the one that applies, lol, hell, I know it's not the first one xD

Hehe, cheers ^_^. Thing is, I admit, I did it since there's a movie coming out called Invictus, and I didn't want there to be association's, I mean, a really obscure power metal album is fine, but a movie? Especially the fact that I have no idea what it's about and stuff.
And my new one is all classically philosophical, plus has geeky undertones and connitations, and is downright uber geeky if someone happens to have played Mage: the Ascension..
