wow. we get full credit for band classes but not for marching band.
we have 2 drum majors for about 70 kids in the marching band

We get .50 credits for marching band. But it's manditory in most cases.
How many drum majors do you guys have? We have 3.

oh wow haha. you have a bigger band program than me! we have concert band, which is only for freshmen. wind symphony is the top band, the one that I'm 1st chair flute it. it's mostly juniors and seniors and it's also really small- most instruments are 1 on a part. everyone in the middle gets stuck in wind ensemble. we have Jazz ensemble too, but flute was my first instrument and really my only instrument so I don't do jazz. marching band is extra curricular at my school and optional if you are in band.
we do have so much in common!
