I litterally just saw your post saying you have JIA and instantly clicked on you, and reading your profile i've just got more shocked that you are 17 and live in england. I live in England too and my birthday is July 8th and im seventeen
I live way more south than you though, just above london.. I have polyarticular juvenille idiopathic arthritis rather than systemic so you have it worse than me :/

I'm getting much better now though, like really really better I'm so excited seeing as i can't remember a time like this. My wheelchair has been sitting in the garage for the longest time ever, and i dont plan to get it out anytime soon, my injection dose of methotrexate is being reduced so i'll probabally be down to 2 injections a week of enbrel soon, which im really excited about

Anyway enough about me!
I just wanted to say hello really I'm new on this site so im just looking around at the moment... if you want to talk then please do

Hey! I just wanted to say that I read your post in the forum, and I wanted to wish you a really REALLY happy birthday! You're 17 like me, what could be cooler?
I know tomorrow will be hard but it's how we cope with things like this that define us as people. Have an amazing time out with your mum, you guys need to be strong for each other, and I truly believe you can be. See it as a celebration of your grandmother's memory, bond with your mother over it - there is so much love there just waiting to spill out. I love the idea of the tattoo, it sounds ace!
Anyway, I just wanted to say i'll be thinking of you tomorrow, and I'm here always if you need me, even if it has been a while.
