Tee hee, it's okay. Thanks for the kind words; you seem quite great yourself. And you get bonus points for liking His Dark Materials! Take care; hopefully we'll see each other around the forums more.

    About me
I am a 26 year old guy, slightly geeky and I seem to know too much for my own good. I'm curious about other people, what makes them tick and what makes them do what they do. I have many friends and strangers come to me asking for advice and help, and I tend to give good advice despite myself.

    Hobbies
Reading/writing books, bike riding, playing video games, hanging out with friends. I also play Star Trek Online and run a guild/fleet on there.
    Music
Rock, grunge, alternative, old school, classical, soundtracks, techno,

Linkin Park, Flyleaf, Nirvana, Incubus, Black Sabbeth, Guns n' Roses, Avril Lavigne, Crystal Method, Metalica, Jamie Christopherson, Eminen, Disturbed, Nine Inch Nails, Enigma, Frank Sinatra, John Williams, Led Zepplin, 3 Doors Down, Sammus Theory, Rage Against the Machine, Queen, Skrillex, Three Days Grace
    Movies
Basically anything with a good plot and decent story line. Any superhero movie, Science fiction, Space dramas, Action movies, Anime, Musicals, and yes...I'll watch chick flicks too...

Star Trek, Star Wars, The Butterfly Effect, Serenity, The American Pie Series, Jarhead, The Golden Compass, Spaceballs, 10 Things I Hate about You, Ironman, Batman Begins, Good luck Chuck, Aquamarine, XXX, Just to name a few
    Television
Any and All Star Trek episodes. CSI: Las Vegas, Bleach, OLD School Power Rangers, How I met your Mom, Firefly, Mythbusters, Hannah Montana (I know...random),Two and a Half Men, Stargate SG1, Stargate Atlantis, Doctor Who, South Park, Family Guy, Two and a Half Men, most anything on the Discovery, Science, or History Channels,
    Games
Well laid out real time Role Playing Games. If i can't understand the controls, I won't play. Most FPS as long as it has a good story line, and flying/space simulators

Mass Effect, Halo Series, Grand Thief Auto 4, Fable Series, Bioshock, Call of Duty Series, Assassins Creed

Currently have characters in Star Trek Online and Elder Scrolls Online
    Books
Orson Scott Card, His Dark Materials Trilogy, Micheal Crichton, Harry Potter Series, Animorph Series. Again, I'll read most anything with a good plot, decent characterization, and as long as the writing doesn't get int he way of itself...(so annoying when you're more aware of the author then the characters themselves.)
    Heroes
Most of the entire Marvel Rack. Spiderman, X-men, Ironman, Daredevil. It depends...
    Favorite quotes
"Realty is a lot more malleable then most people think. They just refuse to believe that they can do something about it."
    Other interests
I'm writing a young adult science fiction book involving both real world issues and out-of-this-world adventure. I have a morbid interest in Psychology, especially of teenagers and girls. (I'll figure out how women think, It's impossible for a guy. But that's half the fun, I'll always have something to do.) I basically like to figure out about the universe, one bit at a time.
  • Signature

    is having to fear nothing"

but nonzero chance of doing the impossible,
what is stopping us from doing the same thing?"
