Yeah, it's the most aggressive, but then i'm on the most aggressive chemo there is, my consultant has been very honest with me from the start and has basically told me that its hard to beat ewings but there is nothing they're not giving me.. the only down side is that my heart function is suffering a little because of all the chemo drugs. I'm having surgery in four weeks to have my whole thigh bone removed, along with the tumour and possibly a hip replacement. My tumour is 23cm long, so basically my whole thigh bone so they've got no alternative. but eh, the upside is, i'm gunna be bionic! lol. ah, i'm rambling now. when was your sister diagnosed? [if you don't mind me asking..?]

That's good that they caught it early!
I have Ewing's Sarcoma, bone cancer, in my left femur. It's pretty rare.. actually very rare.
Also with metasasis in my lungs; but that looks to have gone with all the chemo i've had so far.. so it's all going well at the moment. I was given a pretty poor prognosis [well actually compared to a lot of people it was probably quite good] but now its gone from my lungs things are looking up, which is good. Ah, i think it would awesome to be an oncologist.

oh right, i've met a few people along the way with ALL and it's quite a long treatment plan if i'm right? my protocol is a year, and that seems like forever and day for me, but i know its a lot longer for some people.

Yeah, everything is going pretty well thanks! :]
& i'm so sorry to hear that! :[
I guess you can relate more than most then, i think it's sometimes harder for siblings than the person whos actually going through it. I know my older brother often feels quite helpless.
