OMG!! I'm so sorry that it's been this late to reply back but yeah I think you're right...I know tons of people that have told me they know they are in love and I ask them how they know and they say, "Well, we've had sex" and I just don't think that the ultimate act of affection is love...I mean I have fallen in love with people that I haven't even met or dated...just people from online interactions or text messages or just people who have been my friends for years and I admire and would do anything for and aspire to be...I honestly wish she knew that with love comes that feeling of happiness you have when you are around them and with love comes admiration and respect and the ability to call someone out on their flaws and with love comes feeling good about yourself when you're around them...I don't know how you can convey that to her but she should definitely know that love is NOT sex and love is NOT drama...love can come with respectful drama but not controlling or jealous drama...I mean..I don't have all the facts on what love is and isn't but I don't think she's in a healthy relationship and that's an important part of being in love in my opinion. Has she been raised to believe that sex is after marriage or indicates any life-long commitment? Is she exceedingly religious and innocent? I don't know all the details but if her family inculcates abstinence 24/7 than that could contribute to her resistance to ending this relationship. Oh and please please please message me anytime!
