I don't blame you for being scared. You're bound to be with what your mum is trying to force upon you. Definitely talk to her about the whole situation. See if you can help her understand why having such a procedure is a terrible idea. Maybe you can do some additional research and prove to her why having the procedure won't help and will just make things worse?
