Darkness within
It dewlls there as if you dont see it
every night it hides where the lights cant hit it.
where you cant see it.
when you try to look you close your eyes tighter
pull the covers higher
and drift deeper
the night only brings a darkness you hate
one you cant stand
if you knew this darkness you wouldn't fear it would you?
the darkness is not much of what scares me its whats in it
what comes from it when you look away
what lurks behind its cover
If anything could take it away it would be the light,
but that comes in hours not moments,
so it sits there and rapes you of all happiness
screws with your mind.
It makes you feel as if everything you do is worhtless for a mere 12 hours of the day
even longer some,
light brings release from this torture,
but only for some hours.
The moans and growls of the night...
