Och, just remind them that the general consensus is that we young people are generally better drivers, normally due to video games enhancing that part of our brain for years before we even try it. I read an article about that ages back, no idea where it is, but I'm sure it was reliable >.>.
Hell, I remember when my Dad took me out to give me the basics of driving on Christmas Day (when the roads would be empty). I was generally fine, though apparently I kept drifting towards the middle of the road because I wasn't used to my viewpoint being to the right rather than in the middle >.>.
