Yes, well, I find her character to be very interesting. The story of Fruits Basket is good, of course, but it's the in depth and complex characters and their relationships that really reach out to me. And I agree, most manga is better than the anime, like most books are better than the movie(s). : )

I liked the Cirque du Freak series, but it's been a while since I've read them. I read those kinds of books more a few years ago.

I read all of the manga (it's online), so I already know. It's much better than the anime, although I like that as well. My favorite characters (the ones I prefer, at least, since I like all of them) are Akito (clearly), Shigure, Yuki, and Machi (she's only in the manga). : )

No. I'm not too fond of most "vampire" novels out there at the moment, although I have read some. I tend to dislike them.

YES, oh yes. It's one of the few manga I've actually liked. I'm still depressed there wasn't another season of the anime. The story is incomplete. D :
