You don't get a code for abandoning the egg. Its the same code you use when putting it on a site for clicks.

thanks for the help... it didnt work though, me and her didnt get a code when abanding our eggs... So i dont know what to do... i also found a starry egg in the cave but didnt click it fast enough... whats the dragons like with 'its markings match the weather'

They should give you the dragon code before abandoning. and you go to the link: http://www.dragcave.net/abandoned/CODE . Go to that link right after they abandon it and keep refreshing until you get it. If your not quick enough, then someone else may grab the egg.
