It must be amazing living next to a lake ...the view of the stars without any light pollution ...

but here I look out of my bedroom window and thiers a tinge of orange light on the horizon, plus two butt ugly street lamps in my way =[ (Someone tried to break one of them haha wasnt me ...)

No...We have some great thunderstorms though..The lake setting makes for some gorgeous lightning...

We never really ever get hurricanes. We don't even really get tornadoes. Our severe storms usually take the form of blizzards, and the last one I can think of that did any damage.....Was like September or August of 1998....A "derecho"...Basically a flat panel of winds moving over the land up to 115 Miles an hour....


But we only lost 1/2 a tree...No biggie...
