Well, I just have to sit quietly and do deep breathing. It usually helps me if there is an adult around like a teacher to help me

Is there any way to calm yourself down when you get one?

Well its like, if something is worrying me and upsetting me etc then I get these attacks. They are horrible, you can't breathe and get all dizzy. When Im generally feeling low and/or stressed though, I get more of them. Right now the slightest thing is setting me off and I feel like Im constantly having difficulty breathing, its terrible Thanks though hun. xxx

I'm sorry to hear about that. Is it stress doing this to you or something else? I don't know much about panic atacks, but my friend had one once they don't sound pleasant at all. If you want to talk about it I'm here.

I'm doing pretty well actually (Despite having finals in a week) of course today my brain decided to shut off third period and my teacher kept calling on me b/c it didn't look like I was listening. It didn't turn on for the rest of the day. I've given up on my homework at this point. Oh and I had work yesteray! That was fun! I'm a lifeguard at the pool in my neighborhood. The only thing I'm not looking forward to is cleaning the bathrooms.

    How about you?

Yeah, I know what you mean. I am keeping a few of my scars on purpose, I feel like they are a part of me... its like you said really. I just don't want to be covered in them. How you doin anyway?

I want my scars to fade a little, but I want to be able to see them later in my life. While they show what I did to myself I think they show more what I've learned and experienced. Personally I think feeling comfortable is relative. Sometimes you have to go out of your comfort zone and that makes you stronger. Then later the thing you were uncomfortable with you find isn't so bad anymore.

Yeah i suppose so but if you use those products then it will fade the scars and you will feel better and look better.. It will help you feel more comfortable. I mean, I personally don't want these scars for the rest of my life

So do I, but I try to ignore the discomfort. Just don't go too deep on the top of your legs. I learned in my lifeguarding class that if an artery is cut (I'm trying to find a way to say this withought being graphic) the bleeding won't stop. Blood will be everywhere to put it simply.
I've also been thinking of using products that fade scars, but theres a part of me that says not to use them and just deal with people seeing the scars. I guess I figured I can't hide forever.
