I know, you'd think after a while you'd learn from your mistakes.
There's a road near where I live and I only learned 2 years ago that it was a one way road (which explained a lot ) so I've JUST stopped looking both ways when I cross, and a few weeks back I heard that the council want to make it a 2 way road again. I think they're TRYING to get me hurt.
