Hiiii! =) Could be better, could be worse. I had a final exam at 8:00 A.M. this morning, and I had to turn in a final essay a few hours later. It's been a somewhat emotional afternoon, but the day is finally drawing to a close, and I'm much more calm and content than I was earlier today. =P How about you?

Ooh, okay. =D I'll keep Singapore in mind. And yes, there's a Downey, CA somewhere in Los Angeles... I don't know if that's the one you're referring to, though.

Aww, you only have a school library? That sucks... I remember that I wanted to check certain books out over the summer, because they weren't in the public city libraries... but I couldn't check them out after May 31st. =P Too huge of a risk that students would run off with the books, I guess.

Ah, okay. I thought it sounded Indian, but I wasn't sure. =) That's so cool! I've only been outside of the United States twice: once to visit Mexico for a weekend, and once to visit my relatives in Hungary. I wish I could go on a "world tour", though... Southeast Asia would definitely be one of the areas I'd want to visit. =D

Yup, I'm American. =P I live in Southern California, which is about as close to Brunei as you can get from the United States. xD

Yeah, I had my boyfriend help me with the activation code stuff. =P I'm pretty good with computers, but some things are just beyond me. xD Maybe a "techie" friend could help you out?

Yes, my name is Robin. =) Thank you for the compliment! I like your name. =D What is its origin/nationality?

I just got back to my apartment... currently relaxing and catching up on TH staff duties. =) I checked out a book from the library that I'm dying to read, as soon as I have the time for it. =P It's called "The Speed of Dark" by Elizabeth Moon, and it was the winner of the 2003 Nebula Award (for science fiction novels). Hopefully it'll live up to my expectations. =O
