Welcome to the Performance Committee! =D I've been around for about two months now, so feel free to PM me if you have any questions or concerns. We just had a staff meeting last weekend, so chances are I can clear up just about anything for you. =)

Okay, I'll try to check one of those out!! I'll probably read The Andromeda Strain, just because the title caught my attention.

You should definitely check her stuff out. She's one of those authors that latches onto the ethical issues and really makes you think about them. I love it! She's definitely one of my favorites.

See, I wish I could do that. It just makes me crazy. The only books I can balance is when it's fun vs. school. Since I only pick up the novels for school when I have to, I don't get too lost.

Must-reads by Michael Crichton are Jurassic Park, Timeline, and The Andromeda Strain. =D He's my favorite author! I was genuinely upset when he died, because I knew there wouldn't be any more books. =(

I haven't read any of her novels, but I've heard of her!

I used to be the type to read one book at a time... but nowadays, it goes something like this: I have one book in my car/backpack at all times, one book near my bed at all times, and my Kindle if I'm not in the mood for either. xD So yeah, I skip around depending on where/when I can find the time to read for fun vs. for classes.

Oh, Michael Crichton! Can you give me a couple recommendations? I've always wanted to read something by him, but I'm not sure what's worth picking up. Have you ever read anything by Jodi Picoult? Oh, and are you the type of person who can read more than one book at once? I've never been able to do that, which makes it tough when I have a laundry list of books I want to get through.

Fantasy and sci-fi novels, for the most part, but I'll also read crime/court dramas and psychological novels. I also enjoy reading non-fiction psychology books (not textbooks, but something that I can actually sink my teeth into). Right now, I have Michael Crichton's last book waiting on the backburner, along with the first book in the Game of Thrones series (I guess that's the actual title, but I'm too lazy to look up the name of the series), and I'm also reading a historical fiction novel set in China (or maybe it's Japan... I've already forgotten =P). Unfortunately, the only books I've been reading recently are for classes, but I'll have a one week break in two weeks!
