Everything's okay! Thanks. Just needed a bit of a break from staff. I might be pink or green again eventually, who knows.

Yuck! I'm assuming that overflowing sewers is a little bit disgusting.

It better be benign! You'll have to let me know how your doctor's appointment goes.

Wow, you lucked out! It would have been a lot worse if you'd been in the middle of the freeway. Scary! I would be a bit scared to get into a strangers car too. Good thing he was a nice guy. :] And that you weren't on the freeway!

Well, close enough. I've lived in San Diego county for most of my life. =) I'm currently living about 10 minutes away from the downtown area, because that's where my university is located. I looove having such mild weather (for the most part - the summers have been a bit warmer over the past couple of years - and we DON'T handle heavy amounts of rain well, the sewers overflow ).

Yeah, I'm nervous about the cyst, too. D= But it just appeared two weeks ago, and it's in the same spot where my previous cyst was, about 8 years ago... so I'm fairly certain it's benign. I'm seeing the doctor on Wednesday, so I'll have the answer then.

Thank God, I was able to get off the freeway first. I was going 70 mph, and the needle started to drop. I turned on my emergency blinkers, cut across four lanes, and got off. Unfortunately, the light was red, so I couldn't make it to the gas station (which was about three blocks away). There wasn't a shoulder to pull in to, either, but at least I was in the far left lane, and there were two lanes for turning left... so I wasn't blocking ALL of the traffic. =P And yeah, the guy was SUPER nice. Father of two, coach for his son's baseball team, born in Kentucky and joined the military (like my dad)... I'm normally VERY cautious about getting strangers' cars, but this guy was heaven-sent. =)

Thank God you get to choose! I hate when I'm assigned certain topics, they're usually ones that are impossible to even find any information on, and let alone eight pages. Ugh!

You were born in San Diego? *Jealous time.* Never been there, have always wanted to go! You'll have to show me around there sometime. It's at a cheaper music theatre, and the tickets were only twenty dollars, and it's mostly standing. Never been to a concert like that, I must say I'm kind of scared!

Aw, I'm sorry to hear about your dad. I know that must be hard. I'm here if you need to talk, anytime and all the time.

Gosh, that sounds terrible! I must say that I panicked before I read that you had had one before. xD That must be pretty scary still, though. I'm sure everything will turn out though! At least, I hope it does. Your doctor better do a good job.

Running out of gas on the freeway? Oh man. Worst place to run out of gas! I'm glad someone helped you. :] I love when that happens, even when it's because of a terrible situation. It proves there's still helpful people in the world.

Yeah, but at least I get to pick the topic I want to write about. It's a film and animation class, with a particular emphasis on animation... so I'm going to talk about X-Men (Wolverine in particular), and what it means to be "human". Fun, I know, but I'm still going to struggle with the fact that it needs to be EIGHT PAGES LONG.

Oho. Switchfoot is going to Michigan? Fun fact: Switchfoot is from my "hometown", so there are quite a few fans out here. =D Especially in my bible study group, lol. They offer a lot of free concerts during the summer months.

Well, I've had a few issues... but I'm getting them sorted out. My dad's on a rebound relationship at the moment, which really sucks... but what can I do? =/ I also have a cyst in my breast... it's not the first time this has happened... so I need to go to the doctor's and get that checked out. It should be benign, caused by stress of excessive hormones or whatever. =P But it still sucks to spend a day at the doctor's, when I need that time to study for my exams and to write my essay.

I also ran out of gas today. That was fun. It's the first time I've ever done that. Fortunately, I got off the freeway, and sort of out of the way, before my car died. Someone pulled over immediately, and gave me a ride to the gas station (three blocks away). Didn't take long at all, and I'm so glad that there are people who are willing to take time out of their day to help a stranger, stranded on the side of the road. My boyfriend said it's only because I'm a "sexy lady". 1. THAT'S NOT TRUE, and 2. I was in my car, so he didn't know what the driver looked like until after he pulled over to help out. lol. But hooray for nice people. =)

Eight page essay? Lord help you. xD
I like the new system too, but not when I'm redirected.
It's nice not to see so many dang urgents. It's easier to answer requests now without them all being there. Thank God!

That is cool! We're partner twins, haha.
Everything has been going pretty good =D I'm [probably] going to be able to go to a Switchfoot concert on the 25, so I'm pretty excited. Some of the greatest times are spent at concerts!

    How about you?
