Hey, sorry for the delay! I just started graduate school (Pepperdine - MA in Clinical Psychology with an Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy) and my part-time job this week, so I've been pretty busy off-site.

I actually think we compliment each other quite well, because I do offer the more "advice-oriented" responses, but you back it up with scientific evidence/studies and an explanation on why someone is doing what they're doing, why they're thinking what they're thinking, etc. =)

I actually have not had the chance to review all the proposed changes for the DSM-V (just the sections regarding schizophrenia and eating disorders); however, since I do not have class tomorrow or Friday, I'll take a look and let you know what I think. =D

LOL, I honestly thought you knew my first name since we've both been on here for so long. But anyway, my first name is Nick. Thank you for the compliments but I also have to say, you're one of the few on here who also give excellent, sound, reliable advice. I've been approached both in chat, PM and on the forums for advice, and usually when you're in the thread (but even if you're not), I recommended users talk to you. I know you study psychology as well but you seem to be better at the actual advice part and diagnostics, whereas I'm more into the biological, pharmacological and diagnostics part.

I posted in the Debates section a week or so ago but you can look online for yourself, have you seen the draft for the proposed DSM-V (whenever the hell it's going to be released)? There are many changes on there I'm for, against or just plain surprised.

Do you mind if I ask for your first name? xD Totally fine if you want to keep that to yourself, but I'm tired of saying "the previous poster" in the Mental Health forum, haha!

Oh, and thank you for continuing to offer scientific facts in addition to your practical, every-day advice. It's nice to have someone else who is familiar with the DSM-IV-TR, the psych tests, the biology/neurology/chemistry behind mental illness, etc. I think we spoke via PM about your interests once, but I wanted to say it again: your in-depth advice is greatly appreciated, by myself and other members. =)
