ROBIN. I need your level-headedness and your obnoxious way of making me feel like I might actually be able to get my crap together. Basically, the long-winded way of saying I miss you. Text me sometime!
-
Squeeee! She just might be one of the cutest things I've ever seen! I want her.
Awh, I'm so stinkin' happy for you. I can't wait to hear about the engagement when it happens! I'd love to have a relationship like yours one day!
Yeah, that would be the one. Right now, I just keep a weekly calendar, but I really think I need to work on the color coding.

This is the most recent picture of Lucy. ASDFGHJKL!!! <333
She's about 8 months old at this point. =3
I love, love, LOVE my boyfriend, and I'm not afraid to say it. We're gonna get married someday, once we've settled down and what-not. =) He asked me for my ring size today, sooo, he BETTER be planning on buying an engagement ring sooner vs. later! xD In all seriousness, though, I couldn't be happier, and I wish this much happiness for EVERYONE on TeenHelp!
Calendar idea? You might need to refresh my memory... you mean the big wall calendar on the desk, with the color coding? Yeah, that's a lifesaver. =O
I will definitely keep you posted on the graduation ceremony. I know it will be in May - I'm just not sure which Saturday of that month.
-
Well, I definitely care. It would be an honor to be there. Keep me posted on everything. Just try to give me a bit of a heads-up, so I can ask for the day off.
I'm actually gonna try to implement the calendar idea that you told me about. I kind of do it now, but I really think I'll need it in the future. If you have any more tips, let me know!
Well, I'm technically a sophomore next semester because of all my AP credits from high school. Hooray for being an over-achiever in high school. I might take you up on that. It's nice having a friend who's been in my shoes before and done it successfully.
Beagle! Send me a picture, please. I love dogs. Awh, I hope you guys have an amazing time! I'm sure you will. From what you've told me, the two of you have an awesome relationship.
-
Yeah! I mean, I don't have anything particular in mind for my graduation ceremony... I just want people who care to show up! =D It would be an honor for you to show up! I'll give you the info whenever I receive it. =)
Thank you! I'm proud of my ability to balance school, my job, my practicum site, TeenHelp, and personal life. xD I think the internship hours will be MUCH more bearable, as long as they're paid. =P
I didn't take an upper division class until I was a sophomore. =O It was for "physiological psychology" and "terrorism"... haha! Hang in there, and if you EVER need help, feel free to get in touch with me. =3
Nothing much with my family - just going to eat lots of yummy food and unwrap presents. My boyfriend's parents recently purchase a Beagle puppy, though... which is SO FREAKING CUTE!!! I plan to play with her for a good portion of Christmas Day. xD This is actually my first shared holiday with the boyfriend (last year, we spent it separately, since we had only been dating for approx. 3 months). I'm looking forward to it!
-
I would love to come to your graduation, if you really want me there! It would be great to celebrate that with you.
Well, at least you'll be done with the schooling. I'm definitely not looking forward to the internship hours, but those are still a long way off for me. But, you're seriously impressive with everything that you manage to balance.
Thanks! I'm honestly really proud of myself. I worked my ass off for those grades. Next semester, I'm taking 18 units. Most of them are gen eds, but two of them are actually for my major. It's the upper division ones that are scaring me off a little bit. That and balancing the rest of my life. I'll definitely let you know if I need an interview or any wisdom.
It really is. I'm honestly okay with it. I know I'm not gonna be friends with everyone, so I'm not even trying. We're civilized, but that's about it.
I'll definitely give you a call when I have time. What do you plan on doing with your boyfriend and your families?
-
Perfect! Then we'll schedule something later in 2013. =) Maybe you could even come to my graduation in May! Then I would have an excuse to show you my temporary "hometown," haha!
Yeah, it's a short program! I started in September 2011, and I'll be done in April 2013. =O Less than 2 years, and I'll have my masters degree! Of course, there's the 3000 internship hours... so I won't be licensed for at least another 3 years.
That's an awesome GPA - congrats! I think I earned one A, two A-'s, and a C for my first quarter. What are you planning to take next semester? Let me know if you need to interview anyone! =D I totally forgot that we did that, haha!
Sorry to hear your relationship is tense, but it's understandable. I ended up drifting away from all of my first year roommates, because there was SO MUCH DRAMA. I didn't get involved, but it was still awkward to listen to it all, and that eventually pulled everyone apart. I hope your situation next year is better. =)
Call me anytime... or text me... or maybe I'll call/text you first! =D I'll be with my boyfriend and our families from December 21-26, and December 28-January 3... so if I don't respond until later in the day, that's why (with the exception of TeenHelp, I truly do try to "get away" from it all when I'm visiting people, which usually means turning off my phone =P).
-
Awh, that's okay! I'll be done with school in late April too, so that should make scheduling things a little bit easier. I'm sure we'll be able to figure something out when there's enough time for it. This is just what happens when two busy people try to make plans. It never really ends well. Wait, it's your last semester?! That's insane!!
My first semester went really well. I got 4 A's and 1 B, so I'm pretty happy with my grades. Next semester is going to be intense, though. Uhm, they're somewhat resolved. We don't really talk about it anymore, but it's still really tense. We honestly don't really talk at all. But, that's fine. I'd love to have another phone conversation. Preferably about something not related to my psychology homework.
-
I totally agree! Not that I mind being asked TeenHelp-related questions, but you're kinda awesome, so I do think we should have more conversations that lie outside of that. xD I was actually thinking about you and visiting you (finally), but it looks like I'll be VERY short on time when I'm in your area (about 24 hours with my boyfriend's family on the 25th/26th, then carpooling with the boyfriend immediately afterward because he has work). It looks like we might have to wait until this spring/summer after all, once I've moved and have time to be in your area for longer periods of time. =/ Thankfully, once I'm done with school in late April, there really won't be much to hold me back from seeing you! It's just going to be complicated with the holidays this year, then the spring semester starting again in January (buuut at least it's the last one!!!).
So, how did your first quarter/semester of college go?! Did you resolve your roommate issues? It was great talking to you a while back, so maybe we could have a phone conversation (at least), until we're able to visit each other! =D
-
Hey! I was just thinking about you and I realized that we never really talk anymore, unless it's me asking for something related to school or TH. I'm not a huge fan of that. I'm thinking we should have a real conversation sometime, just to catch up. Sound good? Oh, and I'm on winter break now. So, it might be a good time for us to try to make plans. Just let me know!
