    Awh, that stinks! I'm trying to learn too. I volunteer with the kids ministry at my church, and there's a deaf parent there. I'd like to be able to do more than finger-spell when I talk to her.
    I don't have a webcam that works right now, but as soon as I get it fixed, we should definitely do that! Don't worry, that wasn't too forward at all.

    hey thanks for replying. unfortunatly my church doesnt have an interpreter. i wish they did.
    so you are trying to learn too? i took a class for it and i fell in love with the language. my new dream is to become an asl interpreter
    i dont mean to sound forward but im looking for some asl buddies. if you have a webcam maybe we could get together and sign? maybe we could help eachother learn. feel free to tell me no :P it was just a suggestion

    Hey Dani!
    I just replied to your thread about ASL, but I wanted to check something. From looking at your profile, I see you're a Catholic. If you attend church regularly, you might want to consider sitting near the interpreter, assuming your church has one. Watching the ASL interpreter at my church has helped me a lot, since I try to do the signs along with her. Just a thought.
