They sing this annoying song called fireflies with stupid lyrics. The lead singer sounds like he's on helium. I would give you a youtube link but I doubt you want to face that kind of horror.

I think she hates heavy metal, but she likes Journey and Styx and Foreigner and all that. Thank God. But no one I know offline shares my music taste anymore, except my one friend who is addicted to Switchfoot too. Everyone else listens to Owl City and crap.

Angel is more of a rock ballad so perhaps she prefers heavier metal along the lines of Electric Eye or Night Crawler

I was listening to the song Angel, and my mom was like "I hate that kind of music, turn it off, it's giving me a headache."

It probably had something to do with the fact that I turned it up really loud so I couldn't hear her complaining.
