That Christian video made me lol
No offense intended - but you do realise that when my family has Christian music on, I have my ipod on full volume
    P.O.D. is good though
I spent 3 years trying to decide if I was Christian - I studied all forms of Christianity and it's origins, I also read the Bible from start to finish. Personally I prefer Eastern Christianity - they have better music . Still not enough to convince me to be Christian though. The Bible left me mentally disturbed
I actually have learnt most German I know from all the German bands I've listened to - so I'm no expert
But here is a site with translations: http://herzeleid.com/en/lyrics
have fun learning German from Rammstein
Oh and don't insult Paramore around me or Crush or we (at least I will) eats you

I know, I'm just saying that they may be considered Christian but I don't consider them Christian because they don't talk about God. For example, this is Christian: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SNdxdCK-wiA. This is Switchfoot: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VxGggfihThg That's one of their most Christian type songs, but it still isn't hardcore Christian.

They sound really funny in English. Especially that first one, lol. If you're willing to teach me German then maybe I will start listening to Rammstein.

Paramore is much better than Lady Gaga, but they're still no where near being as good as Switchfoot.

Actually I did know they were Christian beforehand
Trust me I've heard of lots of Christian bands - I just don't listen to any of them - well most of the time
I lean towards deism - but it's more how I view the world and life than a belief I hold strong to.
So here are some English versions of Rammstein songs - they are awful compared to the originals - and the meanings and puns in the songs are lost in translation - but at least they're funny

Just so you don't get the wrong impression you should listen to the originals afterwards
BUT how could you even think of comparing Paramore to Lady Gaga
This is a better comparison for Gaga face
    Kerli>Gaga-goo-goo

I used to have a huge thing for Christian music, I confess. I still listen to it *sometimes* and it shows up as one of my top genres on last.fm, which I'm kind of ashamed of. But I don't consider Switchfoot Christian because they don't come right out and talk about God, if you didn't hear that they were Christian before you listened to them you probably wouldn't be able to guess it.

Paramore is no where near as good as Switchfoot. To me that's like saying Lady Gaga is better than Judas Priest.

And I'm not anti atheist. xD To be honest I think it's wrong to believe that anyone would go to Hell, based on how the Bible describes it no one deserves it.

Now I seriously want to know what the lyrics are. I like the way their songs sound but I hate that I can't understand them. If they had any songs in English I would definitely be listening to them.

I also wish I had been at that concert, even if I don't know Rammstein.

How can you compare switchfoot to TOOL
    They're two completely different bands!
    Ok then Paramore>Switchfoot
*realises has listened to Christian music - puts on song Judith*
    nah I'm not anti-Christian - though I'm proud I freed myself from it's chains
I already knew they were Christian I've heard of the before, since my family listens to a lot of Christian music
I have a similar view on religion as Rev. Maynard
I'm not totally against it - but I defiantly think the world would be a better place without it. The song opiate describes it perfectly
Wings fro Marie is the only song by Rev. Maynard which is positive (only slightly though) about Christianity - though he still mocks it a lot in his other stuff
It's probably best you don't understand German, Rammstein lyrics are very controversy Their latest album was temproarily banned in Germany, and two members had to stay in a cell for a night in the US after doing *clears throat* something on stage

I guess the reason I can't imagine either of you listening to Switchfoot is that they're all Christian, and a lot of their songs have hidden Christian messages.

I went to Rammstein's myspace and listened to one of their songs but it was all German and I don't like listening to songs I can't understand.

    Switchfoot > Tool. Sorry.

Well duh of course they're different
I thought you would have gone for Wings For Marie
It's seems however that those who dare blasphemy against Tool will have to be recycled in the collective unconscious
So I listened to Oh! Gravity ... I can't believe I'm going to say this ... but it was decent
    Doesn't compare to Tool though
For some reason I can't see me and crush ever getting you into Rammstein
You should check A Perfect Circle out though - thirteenth step is their better album, you may prefer them.
Besides you did say we will one day become super

So I listed to a song called The Pot, Aenema, and Schism... and I'm not sure I like it. It's definitely... well, different sounding. I'll give it that.

I can't even remember who, I just remember hearing that they're bad. I know it wasn't anyone from TH, though. So you might have to track them down on your own.

For some reason I just can't imagine either you or Crush liking Switchfoot. If you do listen to them though, their best album is Oh! Gravity, in my opinion.

Spotify isn't available in America. I'm just stuck with stupid Songbird, which doesn't play any of my iTunes songs. Oh well. I knew I never should have used iTunes to buy music.

You know someone who dares insult Tool
Tell me their location so I can show them some intolerance
There was a time when if you went to the signing up url on the site (normally only given when you received a invitation)you could get an account
But yeah I hardly ever get adverts, and when I do it always seems to be when I'm going to close spotify down anyway
So tell me about a tool song you listen to (you'll probably prefer the 10,000 days album) and I'll listen to switchfoot
Just don't hurt my feelings OK
