Well some of the best guitarists were self taught. Just do some daily very simple exercises - say for 20 minutes. Practice all the basic chords such as E, G, A, D. Try doing them in different order and at different speeds. Also try some easy scales- that will really help with your coordination and stretches your fingers. Petal (my dog) was following me around a moment ago - trying to get my raspberry ripple cake the cheeky thing Well it was near her lunch time, she's calmed down now she has eaten - finally lol She's always getting her paws caught in earphones, jumping up at me, no wonder she knocked over my grandma!!!
