I really can't thank you enough (wow that sounds stupid! but oh well) your post made me feel a lot less shitty.. which believe me, can be a hard thing to do.

Actually, I don't play the guitar 
I just stare at guitars and hear guitar solos and wish I could play the guitar 
I haven't got around to taking any lessons yet.
But one day, I vow, that I will!
& I love reading! Which books are your favorites?
