I know but I can't stand cliffhangers so I had to Google it. Figured if it was real he'd have made the news, and if it was fake it'd be on the internet somewhere.
It was really good, after the bit where he was climbing out and the rope was moving itself I was too scared to keep reading because I was alone and it was dark. I feel like such a wimp now.

Well, it is suppose to end at page 10 with him deciding to go back to find out answers, and have it look like he never returned
And pshhh, I actually found that same site earlier. Makes it so much less scary, and ruin the fear of what happened.
But hey, it was a good story at least wasn't it?
