Hi hopefaithlove!! Thanks for the welcome! I hope that someone who's struggling on the forum will feel comfortable enough to contact me. Obviously, I'm not a teen, but I've been doing this (counseling by e-mail) for a while. Eating disorders are awful to try and overcome - worse, I think, than drugs and alcohol.

That's so funny that you'll be in Boston! I live in Central MA, but since I interpret Bulgarian most of the patients (and defendants - I do courtroom interpreting as well) are in the Boston area, so I spend a lot of time driving. In fact, I'll be at Beth Israel Deaconness this afternoon.

It's great to see there are some other Christians on the site! Naturally, I have to be careful not to be too assertive - in other words, try and give advice from a biblical perspective - in a secular forum, but my hope is that people will know I'm here and available, and contact me one-on-one.
