I know, even I still think that. I haven't come out to everyone I know, but if people ask, I'll tell them. You need to tell a couple of people you trust first, people you can go to for support. It means if anyone is weird about it with you, it won't knock your confidence down completely. Always tell people you trust to begin with =] You shouldn't be ashamed about anything.

Even when I'm so terrified about what someone might think of me when they find out? That's the main reason I refuse to tell any friends of mine, even if they are really close.

Yeah, good idea. It should be okay, I always expected worse when I was in your position, but I ended up surprising myself. Just be confident about who you are =] If people don't approve, then it's their problem, not yours.

That's pretty much the plan I've chosen to settle with; Wait it out until their not so much tension amoung my family and maybe afterwards I can try and get it over with in a not-so-stressful environment. :|

Ughh, that's sucks. If there's one thing I've learned, try to avoid telling your family news like that during stressful moments. I've learned my lesson from doing that before, so I would probably wait until everything has calmed down a little.

You never know though, they might suspect it already. It just means it would make it a little easier for you when you decide to do it

As much as I really want to, I think this time right now is most likely the worst time to do it. There's enough tension between me and my family as it is, If I were to come out now things would definately go down the drain. I've barely been able to confront them about my religious beliefs and now I have my mom constantly breathing down my neck over how I've had some consideration to Buddhism and she is always putting me on the spot by asking me "Jesus loves you, you believe that don't you?". All I can do is just stare at the floor and keep quiet cause I'm afraid to say anything else.

To sum it up, I really think it will be after I graduate from High School in two years before I make an effort to say anything to them.

Aw =[ You mean you haven't considered telling them yet? You really should, as long as you feel ready to do it.
