Bow down to my epic library mortal dog

My music is clearly more awesome

Deism is the rejection of the concept of a personal god and of the concepts of divine revelation and holy scripture - we consider these man made. We prefer to avoid the word 'god', but often say we believe in natures god - the term supreme being is often used by deists.
BTW I think you should listen to more Paramore
Oh and don't forget tool and Rammstein

Well, that cat doesn't slow dance!

I thought Deist means you believe in God but not Religion? I'm really uneducated on other beliefs and that though, I blame going to Catholic school.

http://bipolarblast.files.wordpress....buddha_big.jpg The kitty Buddha is much cuter.

You're the last person I would have guessed went to a Catholic school. Now you're like the third atheist I've met that used to be Christian.

It says music we have in common is Switchfoot. I don't think so, last.fm.

Also, your kitties dance skills are lacking, let this puppy be the cat's tutor:

I'll take that as a compliment as I love Buddha
I went to a catholic school and we never did anything about the Bible - we did have a book of death though
Yay for being super - I wonder how that happened
I shall now show you how to celebrate properly

I'm actually listening to the Salmon dance now - yes I am hyper
You know how we do it!

I've never read Ecclesiastes, or pretty much any other book in the Old Testament besides some of Genesis. The Bible bores me. In fifth grade, since I went to Catholic school, I had to memorize all the books of the bible and recite them in order, it was scary. I don't remember half of them now.

Also, you look a bit like a kitty version of Buddha. I think that's even scarier than the kitty with the knife.

When I was a Christian my favourite book was Ecclesiastes - so I was a bit of a nihilist I'm now a optimistic realist

But yeah I'm not keen on Lady Gaga nor Miley Cyrus either. I got into Tool when I was going through some difficult times. They are called tool after all - their songs are meant to be outlets. Music in general is really good for that. Don't worry, I'm much more calmer than when I first joined TH, I had a habit of losing self-control when angry before Thankfully I've managed to get rid of all that stress
    This is me now

I'm still going to have to get you though

I am open minded I guess, but not when it comes to pop and mainstream crap like Lady Gaga and Miley Cyrus and whatever other bologna people actually listen to. I'd rather be deaf.

Hahahahaha, I think that's the first time anyone has told me to read the bible because of the bizarre sex and battles.

Switchfoot is more than music for me, I started listening to them when I was really depressed and all this other nonsense, before I found TH and didn't really have anyone, so I guess I just feel really connected to their music. It might sound corny but it's the truth. I've never just really connected with music the way I do when I listen to Switchfoot. And even though Judas Priest and Iron Maiden and Paramore and all that are really amazing, it will just never be the same. You can kill me if you want to. xD

I don't think they particularly listen to switchfoot - then again I never pay attention
Anyway good to see you're open-minded
But seriously you should read the Bible - it's not boring - lot's of battles, bizarre sex and other stuff
Personally I can't see how someone could base their lives on the Bible - it has awful morals: genocide; the glorification of infanticide and stoning to name a few of the abhorrent things in it.

You really are obsessed with switchfoot though - better than Judas Priest
Well it was nice knowing you

Not offended, maybe it's because I've been talking to so many atheists on TH or because I'm not totally confident in my beliefs, but I rarely listen to Christian music anymore. The closest I come is Switchfoot, and like I said I don't consider them Christian. It just kind of bugs me that people immediately write off Switchfoot because they're considered Christian, because I don't think genres are a reason not to listen to a band. I mean if they were all like "I love God so much" in their songs then I could see why, but they're not. So no blaring your own music when someone in your family plays Switchfoot, or I'll have to hunt you down and steal your iPod and delete all the songs and make them all Switchfoot.

I dislike the Bible, it bugs me. It's really hypocritical and it contradicts itself at least 10,000 times. I've never read the whole thing through, I remember in eighth grade we had to read the first few chapters and in one of them this woman got stoned for cheating on her husband when her husband had at least five wives.

Crush linked me to that on last.fm, I'll check it out.

And I like Paramore. I just don't think they're as good as Switchfoot. But I also think Switchfoot is better than Judas Priest so that's not saying much.
