Well the forums are more for getting advice from multiple people, you aren't supposed to have a conversation with others in them. A few posts were reported for being rude so I went through and edited some of them, which is why it may seem nicer than it originally was.
I don't make the rules, I just follow them. Threads always get closed when the original question has been answered and in your case, it was. Therefore it did not need to remain opened as it was only 3 of you talking and no other member would be able to contribute. So its best to do it off the forums.

I have been PMing them. And we've all been getting along just fine, and trying to work things through with them helping me and me trying to help them. It was just easier to do it in the thread as opposed to sending personal messages. I think to assume we would "fight" was definitely premature as, like I said, we're all getting along. I think in instances where you see participants benefiting from communications, you should not interfere. I could see if something flared up, closing up the thread. But, again, this was not the case.

Me and my co-mod PSY both decided that it would be best to close the thread as you were already given advice. If you need to talk to the two of them, its best to do it off site as we don't want any fights happening. You can always PM them if you'd like to keep talking to them.

Hi...I'm JessJ, who put the post up about my BF stealing my crush. I'm wondering why you closed our discussion because I was fidning it very helpful to talk to leavemealone and augustana.
