No worries - and yes, the head is (mostly) back where it should be which is always helpful! Thanks - feeling nervous about it but I know deep down I can do it so just got to keep believing that on the day instead of my usual trick of preparing for the worst from the beginning. That never helps with interviews lol. Good stuff about college, am glad to hear you got through the application process unscathed and that you're settling in well. Yeah college is a bit like that with everything going on - my 3 years at university were the same but you get through them somehow. Suffice it to say I'd probably die if I tried it nowadays - seriously out of practice! Sounds pretty cool about the music club - what do you play? I used to sing a fair bit and at one stage played the saxophone (badly!) but haven't been able to do either in a while sadly. That and acting which was also good fun...but I digress lol. Anyway, glad to hear all is well.

    Haha. Thanks, good to know!
Oh yeah? So your head hopefully isn't in a lot of places anymore, 'cause that'd be really inconvenient for your body, you know - "oh, when's my head coming back?" Wow, that's great! Best of luck for that interview, and assessment thing and such! Definitely a positive step, so stick with the path! I think law is a very interesting path too! I love courtroom drama. LOL.
Things are great! oh, I completely forgot to update you on that! I got in to college. So now, I'm officially doing a bachelor's degree course in psychology which will be done in 3 years! College is fun! 2 of my best friends from school are in my course, so that's amazing, and I've made tons of other friends. I've joined the music club, so that's a joy too. Although, it's pretty tiring with all our tests and activities and such. But overall, it's brilliant!

Hey you. Yeah, it has been a while lol - just saw your "I'm back again...again!" thread in the A&D section so no worries. Truth be told I disappeared for a bit as well but mine was down to my head being all over the place! Things are okay thanks, was cracking on with applications for places in law firms last month and have an assessment centre next week for one and an interview for another the week after so feeling the pressure! Still, it's a positive step so that's something. How are things with you? How did you get on with your college apps?

Thanks! I'm quite happy with it too, I must say! Hahaha! Awwwww! You're such a sweetie! Well, I do know that there is something wrong with the system, but having the ability to pull a few string always helps!
You know, that actually sounds like a very interesting job! Very hands on, you know? Well, nice people always make things easier, that's for sure! Law huh? A lot of my friends want to do law! That's a very interesting career option, though! It's demanding, it's exiting. It pays brilliantly! I think you'll do great! Yus, I've got them all done! My mum just told me that there is a really good chance that I'll get in on merit alone, but if there are any problems, we always have strings to pull! Mum is an alumnus, and her classmate teaches in the college! So I hope all turns out well!!!
Right now, I'm a little unwell, and hoping to get back to HL soon, but I'm still feeling iffy, so I guess I have to wait a bit! "/ How are you doing? Hope all's well!

That's a really great mark - well done! I'd say you should ace getting into college with that (and if you don't there's something really wrong with the system lol!). Will keep my fingers crossed for you in the meantime. I work as an admin clerk for an electrical contractor - pretty hectic job at the best of times but as I said it keeps me busy and they're nice people to work with. Am looking to go into law in the longer term so learning to deal with stress now is probably going to be quite useful! You get all your applications done?

LOL. Well, technically, I don't really know Everyone on TH, so I decided, I might as well get to know the majority of them! Nu-uh, not anti-social! Haha.
I got my exam marks yesterday! I got 89% so I'm pretty happy with it all!! I hope that gets me into college! I'm going to get my marks attested in a few hours, so I'll be submitting my applications today. I think I'll know in a couple of weeks if I'm in or out. (hopefully it's in! ). And college starts somewhere around the 23rd of June!
And, thanks! I will do that!
Haha, so I hear. I need to get a job soon, too. What kind of job do you have (If that's okay for me to ask!)

Yeah, fair point - I was thinking more of the fact that you're the latest person I've seen on the forum for a while to say "Hi, I don't think we've ever spoken" lol! Makes me feel like I'm being antisocial. Yeah, I know that feeling from when I was trying to get into university - just keep you head up and stay positive and I'm sure you'll be fine. Things are okay for me thanks, working for a living has its ups and downs but keeps me out of trouble if nothing else! (Well, most of the time anyway! ) How much further do you have to go until college?

I said hi yesterday, I think you're allowed to say hi the next day...totally understandable!
Things are going well for me, mostly! Concerned about getting into college mostly. But otherwise, things are pretty sweet! How about you?

Hey Kaveri, thanks for the message - always nice to hear from people and hi in return. Sorry for not saying hi sooner, given that I've been back here a year it's clearly something I need to work on! My bad. How are things going for you? Hope all is well and see you around.
