Thanks for the replies, and I had accidentally wrote antisocial, I can't think of the name of the disorder right now, sorry, i'm a bit groggy, haven't slept the past 2 days. Anyways, out of all of the symptoms you had written, I have every single one of them and have for multiple years, but I never really realized there was something wrong until just recently. My biggest concern is that of social interaction and how others view me, it inhibits my daily activities almost every day and causes anxiety attacks, especially in the prescence of others. Another huge problem is that of anger, when I'm upset I cannot control myself even if I wanted to,I cannot think rationally at all, but after it goes away, or I cut myself up, I go back to normal and relax. I can elaborate on the other symptoms if you'd like.

Hi, my name is Darrien and I strongly fear I'm suffering from BPD. Anyways, I thought that on account of a post you had done on this disorder and that you also are an adolescent, i'd like to ask you what characteristics you had mainly displayed/felt. I read it is uncommon for people of this disorder to recognize they have this illness, do you know if it is possible for someone to have this if they know they have a problem and want help? By the way, i'm only 16 (My problems have been occuring since I was 12, I've been hospitalized and also sent to group homes). My therapist in the group home had diagnosed me with Bipolar but my mood swings only last a few hours and then i'm perfectly ok, they also seem way more severe than those of Bipolar. Thank you for your time, any information would greatly help.
