Yeah it reads electrical echos from you brain and learns what it looks like when you think "lift" or "push"
it's called emotiv and it's only a few hundred dollars cause it's mostly software

i just finished watching a documentary on futuristic technology we have today
basic mind reading
controlling electronics with our minds (the coolest one)
humanoid robots
robotic legs for paraplegics and firefighters
