Hey there You have to have a minimum amount of posts before you can volunteer on the site. You don't have to post about yourself, but if you go to one of the forums, you can actually leave advice and support for others. So for example, you can go to the depression and suicide forum and others have posted in there. You can go into their threads that they start and make posts encouraging them and helping. Once you've made a certain amount of posts, you can then apply for a staff or associate position.

I wss wondering if I could volunteer to be an associate live chat person... and everytime i fillout an application it says i need to go to the support forums and make 10 or something like that... im not here because im depressed... im here to help others in depression...

I see you haven't made any posts yet. That's totally okay. If you want, a great place to start off with posts is in Arrivals and Departures . In there, you can post a little introduction to yourself, and others will reply and welcome you too! You'll also likely meet some more buddies and other staff members in that forum!
