Eh, I can't say that I really care for Mardi Gras all that much. Granted, it pretty awesome to get out of school, even college, for a few days. I dunno. I guess it's cuz I'm not really from here that I don't really care much for it.

I think it'd be fun to see relatives and whatnot. Plus if I went there during Mardi Gras that'd be one hell of an experience lol

oooo! I'd love to...however I probably will be too busy being miserable in Wisconsin lol. But I shall make a point of stopping there if I ever get the chance to travel to Lousianna again (that would be awesome)

Haha, Cajun's are some of the craziest people a person could ever possibly meet! They make me laugh to no end but are extremely protective and pretty much just hang with their own clique. Then, you got the French Cajuns, where you won't understand a damn word they say! lol I can tell you quite a bit about the history here. I love history so that was definitely one of the first things I looked in to. Baton Rouge is just better because the people aren't so rude. It's not so dirty or violent. The places to shop are so much better. I dunno. I just fit in a whole lot better there. You should come visit sometime!

my friends and I always laugh cause I found out that my family way back when was like cajun or something like that so I wikipedia'ed it and found out a ton of junk about cajun culture..go on...ask me ANYTHING lol.
and then you can tell me about New Orleans history lol.
why is Baton Rouge so great? never been there. lol
