I had to share this, wonderful song by Mika! As always of course! And because you are studying French, perhaps you would like to listen to his other song 'Elle Me Dit'. It's all in French so I haven't really got a clue what he is saying but damn, it's good anyway.
Also, I hope you are feeling better now, well I really do, since I'm about to hug you, I wouldn't want to get virtually sick with any computer virus.

    Hey Erin,
How are you? I have stories to tell, I hope you have some your own mischievous adventure to share!
Notice my new avatar? - It's Confucius, that famous chinese philosopher. There is now a statue of him on the river at South Bank (Brisbane) and I just needed to get a picture, since I had my camera that day, so I have many pictures of my wonderful capital. It was a gloomy day but I actually preferred it, the city was quiet with empty cafe's and closed restaurants but the Queensland Museum was packed 'choc o block' full of people seeing the Mummy exhibition, which I visited a second time because I just had to take my mum to see it as well. And, for the first time, we both went on the Wheel Of Brisbane, which peaks at 60m for full panorama views of the city; absolutely brilliant! I didn't get to see everything in Brisbane in that half day so I am hoping to go again some time, it was a lot of fun. Pictures to come soon!

Hey, today I went to the Queensland Museum to see the "Secrets of the Tomb" exhibition! Was very interesting, all of it is on loan from the British Museum, and it's rare for this stuff to be shipped overseas so as my teacher put it, "..a once in a life time opportunity". They even had mummified cats and birds, with some preserved human hands and feet!

Made for a pretty interesting last day of school, especially since we also had access to the rest of the museum for all the exhibitions.

Hugs all 'round and happy holidays!

Yeh well I only need a job so I can start saving for my German International Trip, 5 weeks in Deutschland, Österreich und Der Schweiz. It's going to cost about $5500 + about 600 in spending money...and knowing my Dad, he will be reluctant to pay for any such trip. But ever since he moved out... I don't know, I think he is a lot happier living independently, he is very generous nowadays since he moved, going to the movies all the time, doing trips and going to Air-shows etc with me, splurging on my birthday... I guess he feels sorry...oh well... C'est la vie right?..... Anyways,....and in 1 weeks anticipation, I hope you enjoy your holidays! Tschüß!

Doh, that sucks, I hate it when I'm sick, like anyone I guess - luckily I haven't been ill this winter yet. As for me, I still have 3 assessment tasks to do at school, so I'm a bit annoyed and bored and busy but it will all be over soon! HOLIDAYS COMING!!!!! Hoping to get out for once, in some nice clothes, go socialise with friends, movies, shopping, lunch etc etc - maybe get a job..
