    Hi Alex!!
    HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
I'll be sure to listen to the TWLOHA player whenever I'm feeling down. [Not that THAT ever happens!! LOL I wish!!]
It's good to know you and to speak to you too.
Have you ever read my TH profile?
That basically explains WHY I'm here. [And why I stay!!]
I think one of the purposes I serve here at TH is to impress upon [some] teenagers [And those in their early 20's] that the 'wall' separating the AGES really is of our own making. For some odd reason - I've never taken into consideration how old someone is. I'm just as comfortable talking to someone who is 2 years old - or 82 years old. [And every age in between] I think that's a good thing - a 'gift' even - and I'd hate to see that part of me go away. [Which is why I don't question it very often - if that makes any sense] I've been this way all my life. I see the person within - and really don't care very much about the 'package' they get around in!! lol There's more to that - and maybe my TH profile will explain it.
Tell me something about YOU that few people know about!!
    GBH - Craig!!

I haven't seen it but I'm going to look! Thanks for replying Craig, it means so much even just seeing that you looked and you liked it, because your words are so strong and moving. I believe that God really does work miracles through people like these and even people like us, and His Grace is the foundations on which these things are upon.

I have to say, if you're feeling down at all sometime, have a listen to the TWLOHA music player; Not only is the music calming but it also makes me feel a lot better!

And it's good to know and speak to you, Craig. I respect that as much as some would think it bad that you're here and are older than our users' general age, it's so easy to relate to you and it's hugely apparent that despite that, people really do connect with you! God Bless!

    Hi Alex!!

    I hope you're having a groovy day!

I just got back [So to speak] from spending a lot of time at the TWLOHA website. I have to be honest - tears often welled up in my eyes as I read the stories and watched the YouTube videos. I have ALWAYS tried to give hope to the hopeless. And sometimes - I feel so alone - as if I'm the only one who still believes in hope. Like many people - I'm often depressed. I am often struggling with one thing or another. But for some reason - I've always believed in the power of LOVE. And I have always believed that the hands of God can be found at the end of OUR ARMS - if we allow it to be. That words have the power to destroy but also have the power to lift up and to rebuild. That positive is actually more powerful than negative. That we have to be careful as to what we 'feed our soul'. I wrote a message about that not too long ago. Too often - music [Or more specifically - the WORDS in music] 'feed' our depression - dim our 'light' and take FROM us the spirit of hope. We always have to be careful when it comes to what we allow to influence us. It was wonderful to see that TWLOHA was using [In part] the power of music to lift UP instead of push DOWN.

No wonder you're impressed. So am I.

And thanks for taking the time to look at my homepage. I spent a lot of time on that. I love my 'Be A Freak' page best of all!! Did you see that one?!

    I'm glad you're my friend.
    GREAT BIG HUG
    Craig!!

Hey Craig, I have the time now so I'll briefly go over it. However, as not to go on for hours and hours, I'd also like to give you a link to the site. If you read the mission statement and story you'll soon find out what it's all about. To shorten it:

TWLOHA is a non profit organisation that seeks to prevent suicide and self harm. That's the very basic truth. They tour with bands and sell shirts and just talk to people on stage, and spread the idea of love and that people care about your situation. Besides this, they take in messages online and respond to thousands per day, at times getting suicide notes and things similar to that. And in the past, though I've never self harmed, I've found this to be extremely helpful; just the idea alone makes things so much easier, knowing that someone cares and that there is hope.

And just to add in.. a lot of people talk about how the charity is bad because they haven't had financial records on the site.. but I'd just like to describe now where the money basically goes, so you don't get the wrong idea. They said that they only donate something like 20% of the money they receive, and that goes to helplines and treatment centres (Such as 0800-SUICIDE and others). The rest goes towards making the shirts, keeping their centres open and going on tours such as warped tour and other huge events. Sorry to have went on a little there, but I didn't want you to think it's a scam.

I can't really do justice to them by telling the story myself, so here it is as written by them..

    http://www.twloha.com/vision/

I'm sorry it's so long, but honestly.. read it. It's one of the most moving things I've read and through this charity I was actually led to becoming a Christian a few years ago.. it really is fantastic!

Tell me what you think Craig, and I'm glad you asked me!
